We all know that schools tend to separate between girls and boys in sports teams. You have the boys' teams and the girls' teams in every sport, and they rarely collide in anything. It's not the worst thing that schools do, but it's not great for ensuring a feeling of equality at schools.

At Hogwarts, however, each house has its own Quidditch team, and everyone can be a member, whether they are a boy or a girl. We all remember how in awe Harry was of Katie Bell when he first joined the team, and how incredibly talented Ginny Weasley was as a Chaser (which she then turned into an actual career). 

The ladies of Hogwarts have always been treated with the same amount of respect as the men, and they proved time and time again that they are just as talented, if not more.

This leads me to the question – which position do you think you would have filled on your house's Quidditch team? Do you think you would have been a successful Seeker, Chaser, or maybe a Keeper?
